Computing

Computing skills are a major factor in enabling children to be confident, creative and independent learners and communicators. At Millwood we inspire a love of technology, and support the development of knowledge and skills, making each lesson relevant to children's everyday lives. We model and educate the children on how to use technology positively and safely. Computing at Millwood is engaging and opens up children's minds for them to have a greater understanding of the world.

I- Pathway 2- Year 5. I watched a model of how to use the code-a-pillars and also predicted what the segments would do to the code-a-pillar once added, 'move'. She then followed a visual set of instructions and independently added the correct segments to the code-a-pillars body and watched it follow the algorithm.
